It was our first time trying hotpot. We were excited snd let our server know about our first time here. He did not really help much, just gave us ipad and asked us to order. I had to ask every small thing like how much time for each type of meat, he did not even let us know about the had pulled noodles.another server helped and that saved us. We were not served the bowls for noodles, so we ended up taking the tiny soup bowls for handmade noodles as well. Servers do change the whole vibe of your hotpot dinner (especially the first time) We had 2 soup bases - tomato and spicy mala….trust me the spicy mala was numbing and i had to order a beverage just to calm my nerves. Dipping station was great. Meat was fresh and I especially liked the basa fish. Instant and handmade noodles were good. Overall, liked the experience and will be back to try more soup bases. Hopefully our server then is a cheerful one. Desert bar was okayish. They ran out of golden bricks. Snacks were fun and cute sized.

We had an absolutely amazing time dining at HaiDiLao Hot Pot in Frisco, Texas! From the moment we walked in, the energy was upbeat and inviting — the kind of place that immediately puts you in a good mood. The atmosphere was fun, lively, and filled with the sound of people laughing, cooking, and enjoying themselves. It’s the perfect spot for groups, date nights, or anyone who loves an interactive dining experience. Our waiter, Dylan, made the evening even better. He was friendly, attentive, and clearly knew his way around the menu. He helped us pick the best broth and ingredients for our table, and then surprised us by creating a custom dipping sauce that was out of this world — hands down the best we’ve ever had! It had just the right balance of spice, tang, and flavor that took everything up a notch. Between the fresh ingredients, great service, and fun, social vibe, we’ll definitely be coming back. Huge thanks to Dylan and the entire team for making it such a memorable experience.

I really enjoy eating at Haidilao. My family and I have been living in Dallas for over a year, and we've mostly chosen Haidilao. We love the service, the ambiance, and the food. We especially love their condiment station, which has a wide variety of seasonings and snacks. The staff are all very friendly, especially Velen. She's incredibly attentive and considerate. We never have to lift a finger to prepare the food, and she always cleans up any trash on the table. She's always attentive to our needs and very polite. She's truly dedicated. I want to give Velen a thumbs up! I'll be coming every week from now on, otherwise I'll miss her service, haha.
